TMDI _ Expanding Mandrel

DESCRIPTION

TMDI chucks consist of a conical arbor and an expandable sleeve. This range offers a level of expansibility according to the diameter of the sleeve.

APPLICATION

  • Turning, milling, hobbing, grinding and inspection

TECHNICAL FEATURES

  • Workpieces range: 16 – 131 mm
  • Expansibility: 0,5 – 1,5 mm
  • Attachment: Spindle nose
  • Actuation: Automatiqc – Manual
  • Without pull back action

ADVANTAGES

  • Accuracy: Concentricity ≤ 10µ
  • Quick change of sleeves during change over
  • The sleeve can hold along the entire length of the piston, which means short workpieces can be clamped, allowing to machine the end faces of the workpiece.
